The idea is simple. Let’s teach each other about each other. About our health and wellbeing. And about our illnesses. Furthermore, let's dispense this knowledge to our surroundings. Because an illness changes with perception, and this perception can make all the difference in the way we live.

In middle school, I was bullied from the beginning. My depression probably started from there.

Asking friends and family for help didn't make anything better because nobody seemed to understand me or the way I felt. It helped to find people on the Internet who understood what it feels like and who tried to help. It felt like my real life friends didn't understand me or didn't want to help me.

My advice to others would be to distance yourself from people who do not try to understand you and hurt you because of the way you feel. If possible, find the reason for your depression and figure out how to stay away from it as well as you can. Find hobbies for yourself that distract you from your darkest thoughts and make you feel comfortable instead. When I felt bad, what helped me personally was listening to music. You should try that too.

I listen a lot of songs from the band Linkin Park because I relate my thoughts to their lyrics.
